This presents a bright future for a city with mixed low and medium density residential plus some commercial across much of the current wealthy single family home neighborhoods. I just hope that this optimistic view can actually be implemented, as I often hear how the cost to buy land and develop a new building in place of an old house is so prohibitive, it still results in 2 million dollar townhomes in place of a 5 million dollar mansion. It's better than nothing, but sadly it's often not enough.

Excellent! An 8 minute documentary that holds our attention by concentrating on those interesting broad strokes of Grandview-Woodland's history. This footage is deftly edited, thereby excluding all the extraneous minutiae dredged from defunct contemporary newspapers that clogged the efforts of a less-inspired author.

I wish they would also focus on and allow for smaller single family housing that are not attached. Many cities have narrow housing that is like a town home or duplex in square footage, however, has a narrow walkway in between so that you do not have to be strata or share a wall or floor/ceiling with a neighbour. Also would like to see the Province get rid of the property transfer tax for locals for primary residence no matter if you are first time or last time buying. It's a joke that they never mention how this is a contributing factor to the inflation of our housing prices and not even a justifiable tax in the first place.

This kid-oriented lecture-style video will make kids hate school, hate lectures, and hate the Vancouver Plan with its boring artist rendition of a city, bland text-only slides and unconvincing script. Uytae Lee's videos on the same plan are far more interesting and convincing, as it uses actual video footage of Vancouver, contains some humor, and has actual kids in it.

Dear Friend, Hope you are doing well.I was analyzing your UA-cam channel .I am really impressed by your videos but your UA-cam channel has some issues. You have made many videos but your UA-cam channel is not getting views and subscribers. Because you have no complete SEO any videos, no channel tags, no video tags, no added end screens and cards, not SEO friendly title and description. If you complete all tasks then you get more views and subscribers with monetization. I have a amazing idea to fix.

I haven't met anyone who thinks the Broadway plan is a good thing. 30+ story buildings several blocks deep all along Broadway just seems insane. How did that get approved? Was there really that much support? I understand the staggered concentric heights building out around skytrain stations, but not along most of Broadway. Why are their more rules to keep it human scale, 4 - 6 stories. Utilizing more of the lumber technology out of UBC?

How about sugar as a preventative measure? (Certain places prep their roads with beet sugar to help prevent ice from forming). This may come from wood frogs who are able to survive being frozen by expelling water and keeping in sugar to prevent ice crystals forming on a cellular level.

For a couple of decades, I would have to at least walk 15 minutes to go to where the businesses are located to dine. 15 minutes isn't bad, but it's another 15 to walk back, and that's half of lunch break gone travelling. Recently, missing middle housing was built nearby with businesses at street level. It feels nice to only walk a minute or two from home and be able to dine out. Also I think it's really beneficial that changes like this happen because businesses can spread throughout the city instead of being forced to be concentrated in specific areas. As I personally don't need another fast food spot, but I'd like to try cuisines of different regions of the world in a closer proximity to me.
